Albert Raymond Christ, Jr.

Albert Raymond Christ, Jr., age 78 of Manchester Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August. 13, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Mr. Christ lived in Morrisville, PA before moving to Manchester fourteen years ago.  Prior to his retirement in 2007, he was employed as a water treatment plant operator with Morrisville Borough for twelve years.  Albert was a proud Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War era.  He was a former coach with both Morrisville Little League and Morrisville Youth Football, and a member of the Morrisville Ambulance Squad for twenty years, where he served as Chief.  Additionally, he was a member of the Lions Club and the Jaycees Club.  Albert took great pride and pleasure in watching all of his grandchildren’s sports activities.

Son of the late Albert Raymond, Sr. and Elizabeth (Barker) Christ, he is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Karyl (Carrier) Christ,  three sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Helen Christ of Auckland, New Zealand, Michael, Sr. and Lori Christ of Sterling, VA and Tim and Nadine Christ of Boonton, NJ, a brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Beverly Christ of Carlisle, PA, a sister Judy Valenti of Wilkes Barre, PA, twelve grandchildren, Errol, Loren, Michael Jr, Matt, Tommy, Jacqueline, Jimmy, Katie, Conrad, Kevin, Brooke and Timmy Christ, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 1 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067, where friends may gather between 12 Noon and 1 PM.

His interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
