Albert C. Paxson

Albert C. Paxson, age 71, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at his home. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to his retirement, Mr. Paxson was a postal worker with the U.S. Postal Service in Morrisville for 41 years. He was a proud Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. Mr. Paxson was a 1961 graduate of Morrisville High School. He was a member of American Legion Post # 317 and a former member of the Morrisville Lions Club. An avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he enjoyed horseracing and being at the track, expecially in Charlestown, W. VA. Myrtle Beach was another favorite vacation spot.Son of the late Clarence and Frances (Groves) Paxson and brother of the late Herman Paxson, he was also predeceased by his first wife Mary Lou (Anderson) Paxson. Albert is survived by his wife Lorraine (Phillips) Paxson, 2 children Albert and Beth Paxson of Philadelphia and Stephanie and Allen Feinman of York, PA, 2 step-children, Len and Kelly Embiscuso of Ephrata, PA, and Zane and Amy Moore of Newtown, a brother Ronald and Kathleen Paxson of Mansfield, NJ, 2 sisters Gail Reynolds of Naples, FL and Gladys Smith of Lakeland, FL, a brother in law David and Sharon Anderson of Morrisville, a sister in law Linda Paxson of Morrisville, 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside services on at 10:30 AM on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Paxson's name may be sent to the Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
