Alexander Vizsolyi, Sr., age 83 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Holland Village in Southampton, PA. Born in Bocs, Hungary, Mr. Vizsolyi lived in Trenton before moving to Morrisville 57 years ago.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a maintenance worker with Stauffer Chemical for 30 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville. An avid fisherman, he was a member of the Fortesque Anglers Club. He also enjoyed fixing just about anything as well as watching soccer and his favorite baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies.
He is the father of the late Alexander J. Vizsolyi, Jr. and is survived by his loving wife Jean J. (Gibson) Vizsolyi, three children Steve F. Vizsolyi of Morrisville, Barbara A. Vizsolyi of Morrisville and David Vizsolyi of Holland, PA, two step-daughters Donna Jean and Ramo Kline of Langhorne and Susan and Chris Knott of Morrisville, a brother Bela Vizsolyi of Budapest, Hungary, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a few nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his life celebration at 11 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Deacon Mike Scannella will officiate. His interment will be private.
Friends may gather from 10-11 AM Saturday morning at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Vizsolyi’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) or to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
