Alta S. Gould (schultz)

Alta Gould was born on July 24, 1923, Trenton, NJ. She died on March 11, 2016. She was 92. Alta was the only daughter of Walter and Rita (Hulse) Schultz, Morrisville, PA. She graduated from George School and Southern Seminary where she graduated with an associate medical secretary and business degree. Following graduation, she entered Abington Hospital completing course work as a laboratory technician specializing in hematology.Alta worked at the Mercer Medical Center as a laboratory technician, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the hematology laboratory department. Alta was also active in the Medical Women Auxiliary and Mercer Mart, and a member of the General Mercer Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Morrisville Presbyterian Church.Alta loved spending time in the garden, feeding and watching birds, and spending time at the NJ shore.Alta was married to Dr. Robert Gould who passed away in 2006. She has a daughter Susan Shaw (Spencer) of Washington, and a son Drew Gould (Peggy) of Yardley. She has five grandchildren Charlotte Nadler (Andrew) of Yardley, Elise Rothmund (Mario), of Yardley, Shawn Scorup (Kris) of Washington, Russell Gould (Katrina) of Maryland, and Bethany Cox of Washington. She delighted in her visits and stories of her great grandchildren Asher, Wyatt, Jacob, Lukas, Charlie, Jaime, Adrianna, and Jason.A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church.
