Anne Marie (Keister) King

Anne Marie King, age 71 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Capital Health of Hopewell. Born in Trenton, NJ, Anne Marie lived in Morrisville for over 50 years.

Mrs. King graduated from Sacred Heart Nursing school in 1973 and spent the next 40 years working in the Healthcare industry. Mrs. King was an active member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church serving in various capacities from the parish pastoral council to the nurses’ ministry. She enjoyed spending time with her “church” family going to breakfast after Mass or cheering on the Trenton Thunder. Mrs. King’s greatest joy was spending time with her three grandchildren taking spontaneous trips to Dairy Queen, hosting swim parties at her home, and sneaking them away to the toy store. She would often say her grandchildren are “the greatest medicine in the world.”

Preceded in death by her parents  John and Rosemary (Shigo) Keister, she is survived by her loving husband James J. King, Sr., their son and daughter-in-law James J., Jr. and Sarah (Faherty) King of Yardley, two brothers and sisters-in-law John and Ruth Keister of Skowhegan, ME and Joseph and Beth Keister of Galloway, NJ, a sister Geraldine Keister of Bensalem, PA, three grandchildren Brendan, Meghan and Declan King, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Memorial Mass at 11 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsy lvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The link provided is the live stream of Mrs. King's Mass. .

Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 11 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Holy Trinity Church.
