Anthony P. Martelli

Anthony P. (Tony) Martelli, Sr., of Yardley died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the University of Pa Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 46 years old and a life-long resident of Yardley.Born in Trenton, NJ, Tony was a graduate of Pennsbury High School and Bucks County Technical School and a member of Trenton Country Club. Tony proudly worked over 30 years at Waste Gas Fabricating Co. Inc., which was his second family. Never one to seek attention, he was nonetheless the integral piece of bringing everyone together. Tony was a strong force in the lives of those around him. He will forever be remembered for his strong sense of family, his willingness to "lend a hand" no matter what the situation, his amazing work ethic and his positive approach to life. Tony fought lymphoma long and hard for almost 3 years and throughout it all, remained strong and optimistic. Tony was a loving husband, strong father and a devoted son and brother. He is survived by his wife Debbie, and children, Alyssa, Kira and Anthony; his parents, Peter & Ceil Martelli (Yardley) and two brothers; Pete & MaryEllen (Chalfont) and Robert & Judy (Fallsington), nephew and nieces, Peter, Erica and Jessica, in addition his maternal Grandmother, Rose DiCesare of Trenton, NJ. He will be missed by Kyle & Ruthann Cloman, a great number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the J. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
