April Lynn Zackowski

April Lynn Zackowski, age 42, of Yardley, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of the Morrisville/Lower Makefield area. April was employed as an administrative assistant with the Morrisville Municipal Authority for the past 12 years. She loved watching her son, Jason, play baseball, and was extremely proud of her son John for being accepted to Widener University. She enjoyed hosting appetizer and cookie parties at her home. She is survived by her loving husband, John Zackowski, her two sons John and Jason Zackowski, her parents Joe and Marcia Cicco of Morrisville, her paternal grandmother Louise Cicco of Morisville, her brother and sister-in-law Brian and Desiree Cicco of Florida, 2 nephews Brandon and Devon, a niece Olivia, and many close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her life celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Reverend Deborah Heffernan, Associate Pastor of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, NJ. Friends may call Monday evening from 5-8 PM, and on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to The John and Jason Zackowski Trust, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 225 S Main St., Yardley, PA 19067.
