Arlena Mae Mauro (nicholson)

Arlena Mae (Nicholson) Mauro, age 91, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Crestview Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Bartlesville, OK, she had lived in Levittown for almost 70 years.
She had been a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Croydon, where she was active in the Catholic Daughters.
Daughter of the late Earl C. and Josephine (Harrington) Nicholson, wife of the late Joseph Mauro, mother of the late Terrance W. Pyle, and sister of the late Naomi Rutledge and Earl W. Nicholson, she is survived by her sister-in-law Betty J. Nicholson of Levittown, 3 grandchildren Terrance W. Pyle, Jr., Leslie Ann Potts and Mary Ellen Pyle, 3 nieces Linda and Robert Colella, Cheryl and Bruce Barna, and Sherry Rutledge, 3 nephews Richard and Rhonda Rutledge, Garry and Eileen Nicholson, and Earl and Patricia Nicholson, and many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA. The Monsignor John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions, in Arlena's name, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 or to Crestview Center, 262 Tollgate Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047.
