Arthur H. Axberg III, a remarkable man whose life was marked by both struggles and triumphs, entered eternal rest on April 7, 2025, after a short illness.
Born in Manhasset, Long Island, Art pursued higher education at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, where he earned his B.A. Throughout his distinguished career in marketing, Art's intelligence and creativity shone brightly. Together with his business partner, Glen Greissinger, he co-founded Dialogue, an innovative marketing company that made a lasting impact on diverse clientele. Art enjoyed his role as a husband and father and devoted his time to those in need. His work with the Code Blue program was particularly close to his heart, as he tirelessly assisted the local homeless population, ensuring that they felt warm and comfortable during the coldest months. For Art, giving to those less fortunate was not merely an act; it was a fundamental part of who he was. Art found great joy in following sports, both locally and nationally — he supported the Pennsbury ultimate frisbee team, loved watching the Villanova Wildcats and taking in the excitement of the Big East tournament with son, Logan, and making the trip to Philadelphia to enjoy the Sixers with his son, Steven. Art was an avid golfer, spending as many days on the golf course as he could, walking every hole. Art made and nurtured many lasting friendships through his commitment to Woodside Presbyterian and a 12 step program. He served as a deacon, reach minister, AV tech, prayer and group leader, and volunteered with vacation bible school programming.
Art is predeceased by his son, Eric Arthur Axberg, and his father, Arthur Axberg Jr. He is remembered lovingly by his wife of 43 years, Laurie Axberg, whose unwavering support accompanied him through every high and low. Together, they built a life filled with shared joys and fond memories. Arthur is also survived by his mother, Alice Axberg; his sons, Steven Axberg and Logan Axberg, his daughter-in-law, Caroline Gutshall; his brothers, Alan Axberg and Andrew Axberg, and their late wives, Julie and Marianne, respectively; his close family friend, Laura Brady, and extended relatives.
As we remember Art Axberg, we celebrate a man who did his best in every facet of life, inspiring others to do the same, and supporting them when doing their best was difficult.
