Barbara Ann Bodine

Barbara Ann (Heins) Bodine, age 64, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Born in Trenton, Barbara was a lifelong Morrisville-Yardley resident.The Vice-President of Bodine Oil, she also volunteered at St. Mary Hospital for over 10 years. Barbara was a member of Fairless Hills Elks Lodge #2023 for over 15 years. She enjoyed traveling around the world, flowers, and her pool time at her home in Florida. She was devoted to animals, especially her golden retrievers.Daughter of the late William S. and Charlotte K. (Mitos) Heins, and mother of the late David Richard Bodine, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard D. Bodine, 2 sons, Joseph Patrick Foley III of Yardley and Richard D. Bodine II of Bensalem, 2 daughters Betsey Jean Dunn of Port Orange FL and Jennifer Ann Bonamy of Birmingham, AL, a sister and brother in law Joanne and Kevin Frey of Morrisville, 7 grandchildren, Grace, Mary Kathryn "MK", Nicole, Michael, Josie, Rickie, John David "J.D or Booda", 2 godsons/nephews Keith and Mike, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial celebration at 11 AM on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Yardley, PA.Friends may call Monday morning from 9-11 AM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions in Barbara's name be made to St. Mary Hospital Auxiliary, 1201 Langhorne-Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047.
