Barbara S. Jacobs (woods)

Barbara S. Jacobs, age 80, of Morrisville, PA, died Jan. 12, 2015, peacefully, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in New York City, Barbara had lived in Morrisville over 60 years and was one of the original Grandview Estate homeowners. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, an avid gardener who loved to cook and a devoted loving mother and grandmother. Daughter of the late Reese and Margaret Woods and mother of the late Keith A. Jacobs. She is survived by 5 children, Karen Sue Jacobs of Hatboro, PA, William H. Jacobs, Jr.(Kathryn), Cynthia L., Kenneth and Kevin (Mary) Jacobs, all of Morrisville, 2 brothers Reese Woods of Mattawan, NJ and Duane Woods of Georgia, 8 grandchildren Sarah, Maggie, Lisa, James, Billy, Matt, Chris, and Joe along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com) .
