Betty R. Roleson (gibbs)

Betty R. Roleson, age 64, of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, she lived there before moving to Fairless Hills 14 years ago.Betty graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1967. She worked for 14 years with Capital Health Systems as an accounts payable specialist, and spent the last 2 years working in the gift shop at Sesame Place in Langhorne. Betty enjoyed collecting Betty Boop collectibles and watching movies, especially mysteries. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family.Daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Hutchinson) Gibbs, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Richard Beattie of Fairless Hills, PA, a son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Donna Roleson of Edgewater Park, NJ, 2 sisters and a brother-in-law Bonnie Deveney of Ewing and Virginia and C. Paul Scarborough of Hamilton, NJ, 4 grandchildren Ashleigh, Brianna, Shannon, and Robert, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Services and interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ, will be held privately, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com).The family requests memorial contributions, in Ms. Roleson's name, be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA.
