Carol A. Ceo (horbert)

Carol A. Ceo, age 76, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2016 at Heartland Hospice in Wilmington, DE. Born in Bronx, NY, she lived on Long Island for many years, before retiring to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for 16 years before moving to Hockessin 3 years ago.Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Ceo worked as a claims adjuster for Cigna Insurance Company. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Hockessin, where she was an active member of the Sages. Mrs. Ceo enjoyed many interests, including making stained glass, bike riding, golf, cooking, travel, and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her loving partner Ben Reich of Hockessin, DE, her son Carl and Maureen Ceo of Morrisville, PA, daughter Andrea and Luciano Morelli of Westport, CT, daughter Karen Ceo of Braintree, MA, daughter Dianne and Matthew Payne of Alexandria, VA, daughter Regina and Timothy Richardson of Hurley, NY, a sister Marion and William Lacasse of Augusta, ME, nine grandchildren Amanda, Gillian, Carly, Ethan, Ryan, Luke, Promyse, Kyle and Avery, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Carl Ceo, her parents Charles and Anna (Schmidt) Horbert, and brother Charles "Butch" Horbert.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. John Eckert will celebrate the mass.Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-9 PM and on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W.
