Carol Gillespie Davison, age 83, of Langhorne, PA died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Rochester, NY, Ms. Davison lived in the New York City and Long Island area for many years before moving to Langhorne six years ago.A devoted mother, Carol was also deeply connected to everyone in her extended family, and also to the many friends she made throughout her life. After graduating from the Crane School of Music at Potsdam, NY, Carol was employed as a music teacher. The wife of a pastor, she was active in the music programs of many United Methodist churches. She also greatly enjoyed writing, including a column for the Freeport Leader. Daughter of the late Milton and Marjorie (Roth) Gillespie, she is survived by her husband, the Rev. E. Burton Davison of Langhorne, PA, two sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Vivian Davison of Falls Twp. and Michael Davison and Xiu (Sunnie) Chen of Brooklyn, NY, one daughter and son-in-law Ellen Davison and Chris Wright of Rail Road Flat, CA, seven grandchildren Jacob, Geoffrey, Miles, Felice, Angie, Kaya, and Trillium, and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 2, at the Morrisville United Methodist Church at 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA.
