Carol L. Ficarotta

Carol Lou (Konat) Ficarotta of Morrisville, PA passed away on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington, PA.  Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident.  Carol was retired from the State of New Jersey, where she was a supervisor in the Department of Disability.

Beloved wife of Raymond for 59 years, Carol was the devoted mother of Linda and her husband David Taylor of Bristol, Lori and her husband George Rosso of Levittown, Raymond Ficarotta of Yardley and Tracy Ficarotta of Warrington.  Carol was the loving grandmother of Dana Villanueva, Nicole and Gina Rosso, Salvatore and Joseph Ficarotta and Jake and Alexa Ortman, and the great grandmom of Olivia, Amelia, Elaina and Brayden.

Daughter of the late Lillian Meyers (Patterson) and Henry Konat, Sr., she is the cherished sister of Henry Konat, Jr. and the late Lorraine Pezza.  She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson Ryan and her longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Grady.

Carol enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her high school girlfriends. She loved dancing and traveling, and especially loved her nightly coffee clatch of forty-plus years with her best friend Lee.  Carol was also an avid sports fan, and was the biggest cheerleader for her grandchildren’s events.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.  The Monsignor John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Yardley.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
