Carol A. Hayes, age 80 of Morrisville, PA, passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at her home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Carol grew up up in Trenton and lived in Morrisville until 2004. She moved to Painter, VA for 15 years before returning to Morrisville 1 year ago.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Hayes was employed as an intake technician with Mercer Medical Center for 30 years. A huge supporter of the V.F.W (as her late husband was a Veteran), she enjoyed knitting, was a NASCAR fan, and loved being with her family.
Daughter of the late Ferdinand and Eluned (Jones) Engelhart, and wife of the late Lee G. Hayes, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lori L. and Michael J. Wadsworth, Sr. of Morrisville, one sister, Nancy Brunell of Virginia, a brother and sister-in-law Karl "Skip" and Ruthanne Engelhart of Georgia, five grandchildren, Bryanna Wadsworth (and Jerod Jenkins), and Michael, J., Jr., Joseph, Ethan, and Nathan Wadsworth, two great-grandchildren Jordyn and Jalen Jenkins, here dog and best friend Takota, and several nieces and nephews.
Her services and interment in Ewing Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions, in Carol's name, be sent to Howling Woods Farm, 1731 W. Veterans Highway, Jackson, NJ 08527 ( www.howlingwoods.org ).
