Carol J. Spedding

Carol J. Spedding, age 81 of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at her son’s home in Broomall, PA.  Born in Chicago, IL, Carol lived in Mercerville, NJ before moving to Yardley forty years ago.  

A graduate of Hamilton High West, she was the owner of the Hurry Back Inn in Mercerville for 13 years.  Carol was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Knowles Doyle American Legion Post 317 in Yardley.

Daughter of the late Carl and Violet Frech, she is survived by her husband William J. Spedding, two sons and daughters-in-law Joseph A. and Cynthia DeAngelis of Broomall, PA and Todd C. and Dawn DeAngelis of Wenonah, NJ, a brother and sister-in-law Carl and Marlene Frech of Waterville, PA, a sister and brother-in-law Fritzi and Kevin Kennedy of Cinnaminson, NJ, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
