Obituary of Caterina ManninoCaterina Mannino, age 56, of Newtown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA. Born in Sicily, Caterina lived in Fairless Hills before moving to Newtown 20 years ago.Mrs. Mannino was, along with her husband, a co-owner of Mannino's Restaurant in Morrisville, PA. She loved gardening, but her greatest passion was taking care of her family. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.Daughter of the late Ambrogio and Josephine (Volo) Musso, and mother of the late Mercedes Marie Mannino, she is survived by her loving husband Antonino "Tony" Mannino, 3 children, Santina Mannino of Newtown, PA, Vincenzo Mannino and Antonio Mannino, both of Morrisville, a sister, Franca Musso of Florence, Italy, 2 brothers Pino Musso of Sicily and Andrea Musso of York, PA, 2 granddaughters Caterina and Sophia Mannino and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, River Rd., Yardley, PA.Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 4-8 PM, and on Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W.
