Cathy (Hay) Sass Brosnan

Cathy (Hay) Sass Brosnan, age 67 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 at her home in Morrisville.  Born in New York (Manhattan), NY, Cathy lived in Long Island, NY for over 60 years before moving to Morrisville 4 years ago.

She earned her BA degree and became a school teacher.  Cathy enjoyed reading, especially books about English History.  She relished  attending her daughter's sporting events and activities.

Daughter of the late Allen and Kay Hay, she is survived by her husband Michael Brosnan, three daughters and two sons-in-law Laura Sass-Germain and Matt Germain of Penndel, Kerry Sass and partner Fernando of Manhattan, NY and Catherine (Cammy) and Ryan Jones of Levittown, PA, a brother and sister-in-law Allen and April Hay of Long Island, NY, 7 grandchildren Kaylee and Maggie Germain, Lyanna, Maura  and Ryan Jones, and Cora and Freya Brosnan.  She is survived by her nephews Chris and Steve Hay and niece Katie Clemente, and their wonderful spouses and children.   Lastly, she is survived by her lifelong friend and father of her children, Wesley Sass.

Relatives and friends are invited gather and celebrate her life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 3-5 PM at the O'Reilly Funeral HOme, 137-40 Brookville, Blvd, Rosedale, NY  11422.
