February 8, 2016 Obituary of Charles Lester BigleyCharles Lester Bigley, age 65, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at Statesman Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Levittown, PA. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he graduated from North Hunterdon High School and Marietta College, OH, where he played football. He taught math and physics and coached football at his former high school and eventually became a computer scientist for RBC and CSC in Warminster, where he worked on contracted projects for the U.S. Government. He lived in the Yardley area for over 40 years. Charles was a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church. He was a devoted Flyers fan and also loved keeping baseball statistics. He was an avid hockey player, softball player and golfer. His other interests included gardening, chess, and Sudoku. He enjoyed listening and singing to classic rock and Motown hits. He reveled in making people laugh and telling jokes. Son of the late Lester and Delores (Merrill) Bigley, he is survived by his daughter Brittany Lynn Bigley of Yardley, a brother Stephen Bigley of Marietta, OH, a sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Doug Green of E. Aurora, NY, several nieces and nephews, as well as his former wife, Joyce Bigley of Yardley.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor, will officiate.Friends may call Saturday morning from 10-11 AM in the church lounge.A luncheon will follow the services at the church, with a committal service held at 2:30 PM at Bloomsbury Cemetery, Greenwich, NJ 08886, (Rt. 173 between Warren Glen-Bloomsbury Rd & Rt. 639).In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, may be sent to the "Charles L. Bigley Memorial Scholarship" Fund c/o Wm. Penn Bank, 400 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
