Charles B. Leonard, age 91, a longtime Levittown, PA resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his home, with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Leonard had lived in Levittown since 1951 before moving to his son's home in Morrisville, PA a short time ago.Charles was retired from U.S. Steel, where he was the Director of Pricing for many years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the European Theater during WWII. Mr. Leonard was a member of the Morrisville Elks Lodge # 2023, as well as the Chester W. Terchon VFW Post #5542. Among his many interests, Mr. Leonard loved to cook, go fluke fishing at Point Lookout, NY, and play billiards. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making miniature manger scenes.Son of the late Charles and Lillian (Brooks) Leonard, he is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Warren and Dawn Leonard of Morrisville, PA, Brian Leonard of Penndel, PA, and Shaun and Inger Leonard of Dolgeville, NY. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his memorial mass at 10 AM on Friday, July 11 2014 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
