Charles J. Ossmann Jr.
December 20, 1938 — February 6, 2018
Charles J. Ossmann, Jr., age 79, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Morrisville resident.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ossmann was employed as a steelworker with U.S. Steel for over 30 years. He then continued to work in patient transport with Mercer Medical Center for several years. Ozzie enjoyed golfing and playing Friday night poker with his friends. He enjoyed good food and wine and was an exceptional cook. He spent many hours watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events and challenging them to a game of Gin rummy any chance he got.
Charles was the oldest of nine children born to the late Charles J. Ossmann, Sr. and Martha E. (Brooks) Ossmann. He was the brother of the late Sharon Drews, Patricia Fabian and Gary Ossmann. Mr. Ossmann is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Lou (Bisceglia) Ossmann, two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie L. Evans of Harleysville, PA and Kelly A. and Richard Stintsman of Morrisville, PA. Four sisters and two brother-in-laws, Shirley Beaudet of Pennsauken, NJ, Carol Richmond of Beckley, WV, Linda and Marty Jantos of Fairless Hills, PA and Marge and Frank Passe of Manville, NJ, and a brother Clinton Ossmann of Yardley, PA, five grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Cookson, Casey and Hunter Evans, and Kaitlyn Stintsman, a great grandchild Harper Cookson, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his services on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at 7PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. His interment will be private.
Friends may call Friday from 5-7 PM at the funeral chapel.
