Charles H. Zeigler, age 69, of Barnesville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at Lehigh Hospital, Allentown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Zeigler lived in Bensalem from 1977 until 2006, when he moved to Barnesville.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an equipment operator with PennDot for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid football fan, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Son of the late Raymond and Claire (Curran) Zeigler, he is survived by his loving wife Joanne (Zielinski) Zeigler, his son Charles H. Zeigler of Warminster, PA, 2 daughters and sons-in-law Jessica and Gary Steere of Avondale, PA and Lori and Henry Long of Emmaus, PA, as well as 5 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12:30 PM on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His in interment will follow at 2 PM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
Friends may call Thursday from 11:30 – 12:30 at the funeral chapel.
