Charlotte N. Cope (bleasdale)

Charlotte N. Cope, age 88, of Morrisville, PA, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Manorcare of Yardley. Born in Morrisville, PA, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to her retirement, Charlotte was employed as an office worker with Thermoid Company of W. Trenton, NJ. She also worked in the chicken and egg business. Additionally, Charlotte worked as a factory worker at VIPCO in Morrisville, and as a bookkeeper with Bill Davis TV Repair. Mrs. Cope was a member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Assn., the Ladies Auxiliary of Capitol View Fire Co., and the Morrisville Senior Service Center, where she loved to play Bingo. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and cooking, and was an avid reader. Mrs. Cope was also a lover of owls.Daughter of the late George William and Tacy (Wharton) Bleasdale and mother of the late George William "Bill" Smith, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law John Michael and Linda Smith of Ambler, PA, two daughters Tacy Miller of Morrisville and Dorothy Jean Miller of Bensalem, a sister Tacy Ann Rose of Delran, NJ, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call Friday from 10 AM - 11 AM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlotte's name may be sent to the Deborah Heart & Lung Center, 200 Trenton Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
