Christopher Whitman Leyenberger, 60, passed away Thursday evening peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Chris, a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, always sought to create a community of stronger happier people. Whether through his work as an architect, his passion for restoring classic cars or his dedicated community service, Chris worked tirelessly to demonstrate the indomitable power of people working together. His uncompromising commitment to quality, trust and fun is a legacy that he will leave for all who knew him. A service will be held Saturday, November 24 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Church, 47 W. Afton Ave. in Yardley, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ockanickon Boy Scout Reservation, Bucks County Council, 5787 State Park Rd., Pipersville, PA 18947, for the purpose of camp improvements.
