Claire F. Talone (ogonofski)

Claire F. Talone, age 94, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Mercerville Center, Hamilton, NJ., two weeks before her 95th birthday. Born in Trenton, NJ, she had lived in Morrisville for the past 60 years.Claire was a graduate of Cathedral High School, class of 1938. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary with the NJ State Department of Labor for over 20 years. Mrs. Talone was an avid gardener, cook, and baker, and was especially known for her apricot bars. Claire loved animals, especially birds and cats. Her great joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great grandsons, and great-great granddaughter.Daughter of the late John and Margaret (Cahill) Ogonofski, and wife of the late William J. Talone, she was also predeceased by her lifelong childhood friends, Gerry Ecker and Sally "Sooky" Wallace. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Philip J. and Barbara Plumeri of Trenton and Thomas J. and Joanne Plumeri of Boulder City, NV, three grandchildren Peter Plumeri, Jennifer Plumeri, and Shari Plumeri, 5 great grandchildren Tyler Middleton, Colin and Jacob Fuessel, and Kevin and Zachary Plumeri, a great great granddaughter Amelia Middleton, and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM - 11 AM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
