Daniel Maxcy Holstrom of Yardley passed away on June 8, 2017. He was 68.Born in Fort Crook, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Brig. General Everett Wayne andHarriett Fisher Holstrom.Daniel worked as a trade services specialist in New York City and San Francisco with extensiveexperience in software product development, project management, supply chain finance andinternational sales, operations and marketing. He was also a semi-professional opera singer,composer and librettist having composed his original opera, "The Return of Odysseus" whichwas performed at the Greek Embassy in Washington, DC. in 2006. Dan was also working on asecond opera, "Rasputin". The most important things in life to Dan were his three children andhis music. Dan was well-known for his fun, gentle spirit and his kind and loving personality.He is survived by his wife, Catherine Holstrom (Brunton), of Morrisville and his three belovedchildren, Timothy, Kelly and Christina Holstrom. He is also survived by two brothers and twosisters, Wayne Holstrom (Barbara) of San Jose, CA, John Holstrom (Kris) of Telluride, CO,Susan Holstrom (Bert Voorips) of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Marianne Delatorre (Nick)of San Jose, CA., several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephew.A memorial service will be held at the J Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com), on July 27, 2017. Friends maycall from 9-10 am at the funeral chapel. Service at 10 am.
