David C. Housel, Sr.

David C. Housel, Sr., age 74 of Fairless Hills, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Housel lived in Morrisville before moving to Fairless Hills 47 years ago.

David was a graduate of Ewing High School and served as a member of the NJ Air National Guard, stationed at Maguire AFB.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Public Service Electric and Gas in New Jersey for over 30 years.  An avid baseball fan, he especially enjoyed rooting for the Yankees and the Trenton Thunder.  David enjoyed taking trips to Wildwood, working in his yard, and walking around the neighborhood, socializing with the neighbors.

Son of the late David B. and Catherine (Zimmer) Housel, and brother of the late Delores Dill, he is survived by his loving wife Susan K. (Balonis) Housel, two sons David C. Housel, Jr. of East Greenville, PA and Thomas C. Housel of Fairless Hills, his sister Katherine Neutzman of Hamilton, NJ, four grandchildren Christian, Emma, Dana and David C. Housel, III, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 5 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  His interment will be held privately.

Friends may call Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 PM – 5 PM at the funeral chapel.
