Don Alan Rassler

Don Alan Rassler, age 68, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 with his family by his side. Don was born in Philadelphia, lived in Yardley for 30 years, and spent the last years of his life near family in Philadelphia.Don was a self-employed financial planner (ChFC, CLU). While building his business over 30 years, he took great pride in helping people plan for their financial future. He was a member of MENSA, Rotary, the Masons, Scottish Rites and many other civic organizations.Don was the son of the late Harry Rassler and Eleanor Sharp. He is survived by his wife BJ , daughter Jessica and son-in-law Glenn, daughter Shanley and son-in-law Patrick , son Don, brother JJ, and four grandchildren: Deegan, Alia, Ember, and Saylor. His family will miss his quirky sense of humor, funny hats, Latin phrases, love, guidance, and kindness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the service will immediately follow. The services will conclude with interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Lower Southampton Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers or donations, Don would like everyone to celebrate his life by spending time with loved ones, raising a glass, and reminiscing with a favorite story about him.
