Donald E. Mossman

Donald Eugene Mossman, age 81, of Pittstown, NJ, formerly of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at his home. He was the son of the late Wilbur B. and Georgia (Helms) Mossman and was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was an electrician by trade and was employed by U.S. Steel and Trigen Energy Corporation. Donald was intelligent, witty, loving, and caring. He was an avid dirt stock car racing fan with favorite driver Billy "The Kid" Pauch and NASCAR fan with favorite driver Tony Stewart. He loved to read and was an avid gardener.He is survived by his fiancée Nancy J. Kautsky and brother Richard and wife Sally Mossman, children Wendy and husband George VanSant, Donna and husband John Buono, and Cheri Carlson, and step children James and wife Mary Knepp, Linda Pappalardo, and Randy Knepp. Donald was very fortunate to share his love with his grandchildren Jessica Lynn, Christopher Nutt, Danielle Nutt, Adam Maggio, Rachelle Carlson, great granddaughters Brittney Cannella and Carmen Maggio, and step grandchildren Kristi, Kimberley, Timothy, Daniel, Brandon, Sapphire, Brian, Jamie, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, and cousins in Indiana. He is pre-deceased by his first wife Wendy Ford Mossman and his second wife Joan Knepp Mossman, his brother LTG Joe R. Mossman, grandson Jason Nutt, step daughter Sherri Knepp and step grandson David Knepp.Relatives and friends may call Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 from 12 noon until time of services at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel 41 W. Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, PA . Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park in Bensalem, PA.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's name may be made to American Institute of Cancer Research, 1759 R. Street N.W. P.O.
