Donald A. Picciotti, age 80, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born in Philadelphia, Donald was a lifelong resident of Morrisville.
A graduate of Morrisville High School, Mr. Picciotti retired as a crane operator from U.S. Steel after thirty years of service. An avid fan of both the Phillies and Eagles, he never missed a game. Don was a model train enthusiast. He also loved carpentry and woodworking. Anyone who knew him well never came to the house without a BINGO and Diet Pepsi. He was fond of solving crossword and sudoku puzzles, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and his dogs Harper and Harry. Donald was a kind gentle soul who loved his family more than anything and provided an example of love and kindness that anyone who was fortunate enough to experience could innately feel. There was no adventure or obstacle that he and Marilynn ever said no to as they built their beautiful family. He never faltered, even when things were difficult, and showed his children that love is everlasting. His love for his wife superseded all and was the kind of love you dream of knowing and seeing. He was a man who left his imprint on those around him in a way that was never boastful or proud. It was just him. It is his foundation that has given his children the ability to build their own.
Son of the late Frank and Edna (Weimer) Picciotti, father of the late Donald A. Picciotti, Jr. and brother of the late Kenneth Picciotti, he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilynn A. (Manghan) Picciotti, 7 children: Beth Anne (William) Darling of Morrisville, Maria Danielle Picciotti of Souderton, PA, Daniel P. (Johanna) Picciotti of Levittown, Veronica Cagney Picciotti of Levittown, Robert (Carla) Picciotti of Morrisville, Tammy Picciotti of Fairless Hills and Amy Picciotti of Philadelphia, a brother Frank Picciotti (Patricia) of Morrisville, eight grandchildren Brian, Bridget, Bria, Brynne, Billy, Angelina, Hailey and Violet, one great grandchild Erin and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his memorial mass at 11 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will be held privately.
