Doreen (Van Horn) Cerula

Doreen Cerula, age 72 of Langhorne, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, Doreen lived in Levittown for over 50 years before moving to Langhorne 8 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Pennsbury School District as a management assistant for over 30 years.  An avid Phillies fan, she enjoyed playing games on her computer, solving puzzles and taking great care of her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Robert and Anne (Whitham) Van Horn, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Dawnylle Cerula of Mt. Laurel, NJ, a sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Edward Sweeney of Jupiter, FL, two grandchildren Makenzie and Alyssa Cerula, and two nephews Ed and Rob Sweeney.

Her services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Mrs. Cerula's name, may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
