Dorene Ann “Dee” Pearson, age 81 of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022 at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Dee lived in Morrisville, PA for many years prior to moving to Fairless Hills 24 years ago.
Mrs. Pearson was a former waitress at the Blue Fountain Diner in Fairless Hills, then worked at Centre Fruit Gourmet in Morrisville designing fruit baskets. Following that, she was employed with Tenco Assemblies in Morrisville. An incredible artist, Dee enjoyed painting and making holiday wreaths. She was also fond of taking trips to Peddler’s Village in New Hope. Most of all, she was known as being the “best grandmother in the world.”
Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Hiltner) McKee, as well as the stepdaughter of the late Frank Zerringer, who lovingly raised her, she is survived by her loving husband Brad Pearson, four children Anthony (Shelly) Piselli of Warminster, Laura Collazo of Yardley, Michele (Mark) Miller of Hamilton, NJ and Michele (Chris) Strange of Mt. Laurel, NJ, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing in order to gather and celebrate her life on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10 – 11:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Her interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Dee’s name, be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Road, New Hope, PA 18938 (www.buckscountyspca.org).
