Doris I. Schiefer, age 92, of Yardley, PA, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 at Arden Courts after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio, and was a resident of the Morrisville/Yardley area since 1969. Doris enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling, but most of all, exercise and companionship at LA Fitness. She always took great pleasure in being well dressed. Doris taught Sunday School when she resided in Ohio, and has been a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church since November of 1969. Daughter of the late George and Lottie (Leopard) Shimer, she is survived by her husband of 65 years Clarence E. Schiefer of Yardley, her daughter and son-in-law Marcia and Rev. Daniel Hall of Narvon, PA, two grandchildren Matthew (& Jessica) Hall of Benton, MS and David (& Chrissy) Hall of Austin TX, and 6 great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Daniel Hall will co-officiate. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9 AM until time of services in the church lounge.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Doris' name, be sent to the above named church.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
