Dorothy A. Urban

Dorothy A. Urban, age 83, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Born in Pomeroy, OH, Dorothy was a resident of Morrisville for over 50 years.Mrs. Urban loved to bake and cook, and her favorite time of the year was the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.Daughter of the late Aloysius and Ethel Gruezer, she is survived by her husband Thomas E. Urban, 3 sons and a daughter in law, Frank T. Urban of Lower Makefield, Randy and Sharon Mauck of Monesson, PA, and John Mauck of Tullytown, PA, 4 grandchildren Olivia, Kiera, and Ellie Urban and Lisa Mauck, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday evening at 7 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the familyFriends may call Friday evening from 6-7 PM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Dorothy's name, be sent to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
