Earl William Perrine, Jr.

Earl William Perrine Jr., of Ellwood City, passed peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 79, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Perrine was born near New Castle, Pennsylvania to Alice Graham and Earl William Perrine, Sr.

After leaving Ellwood City to serve in the Navy, Earl married and enjoyed the West Coast, eventually moving to Alabama to raise his children and build a homestead, where he became affectionately known as “Yankee” to his closest friends.

He spent his working career with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a construction laborer, retiring in 2005 to spend more time with family. In 2020 Earl relocated to Morrisville to live with is daughter, spending precious moments with his children and grandchildren.

He loved tinkering with cars alongside his sons William J. and Raven, watching football with is son-in-law Keith, swap meets & auctions, late night Netflix binging with “hunchie bunches” & Ice cream cake, long naps, playing cards and cheering for his grandchildren at soccer, basketball & dance events. He proudly carried the title of the official house “clothes folder.”

Earl Perrine is predeceased by his parents Alice Graham and Earl William Perrine, his brother Raymond Perrine and his wife of many years, Jan.

He is survived by his loving grandchildren, Elisabeth, Ella, Sarah, Orrin, Joseph, Ashley, Brittany, Zerin & Dominick as well as his daughter April (Keith) Halloran and two sons, William (Amber) of Ellwood City and Raven (Beth Fritts) of Morrisville, and one sister Deidra Desport (Bill) of Ohio.

Veteran Memorial Services will be held at a later time, at the convenience of the family.

The family kindly requests that any friends or family wishing to send flowers, please instead direct a contribution to The Ivins House Charities, for whom Earl volunteered and delivered meals. The Ivins House programs help to allow seniors the assistance and care needed to remain in their homes during their aging and final years. https://www.ivinsoutreach.org/
