Earl R. Wilcox

Earl R. Wilcox, age 86, of Morrisville, PA, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Morrisville, he was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed in the Maintenance Department with Morrisville Boro for 16 years. Earl was a life member of the Union Fire Company as well as a life member of the Bucks County Fire Police.Son of the late Harold R. and Catherine (Miller) Wilcox, husband of the late Edna (Dreisbach) Wilcox, father of the late John R. Wilcox, and brother of the late June Todash, he is survived by a daughter and son in law Ruth G. and Edward Lowndes, Sr. of Hamilton Township, NJ, a son and daughter in law Harold E. and Patricia Wilcox of Morrisville, 2 sisters, Doris Cook of Levittown and Shirley Salevsky of Emmaus, PA, a brother Herbert Wilcox of Warminster, 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Edward, Jr., Jason, Nicholas, Eric, David, Keely, Timothy, Darryl, and Angel, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Gary Taylor, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Morrisville, will officiate.
