Edith F. (LaBar) Buikoff of Morrisville, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. She was 77.Born in Little York, N.J., Mrs. Buikoff was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Edith worked as a health care aide for the NJ State Hospital for eight years, before venturing into the home health care profession for 20 years. She was a member of the Woodside Presbyterian Church, where she was active in many church functions and activities. Edith was a loving mother who devoted her life to raising her children. She also liked to attend functions at the Morrisville Senior Center.Mrs. Buikoff is survived by three children, Patti and Christopher Rodenberger of Mays Landing, N.J., Theodore Buikoff of Florida, and Nicholas Buikoff of Morrisville; a sister Marie of Norristown, Pa.; three grandchildren Eva Fiamoncini of Gallway, N.J., Joseph Fiamoncini of Mays Landing, N.J., and Jonathon Fiamoncini of Hatfield, Pa.; three great grandchildren, Corina, Linda, and William; and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, The Rev. Douglas Hoglund, Pastor of Woodside Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Edith's name be made to Woodside Presbyterian Church, 1667 Edgewood Rd., Yardley, PA 19067.
