Eileen Gancarz

October 31, 1934 — December 19, 2024

Fallsington, PA

Eileen Gancarz, a beloved matriarch and cherished community member, gracefully departed from this world on December 19, 2024, at the Capital Health Regional Hospital in Trenton, NJ. Born on October 31, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Eileen's life was a tapestry woven with love, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community.

From an early age, Eileen's nurturing spirit shone brightly. She attended the Pennsbury School District and embraced the values of resilience and service that would define her life's journey. Throughout her career, Eileen worked diligently alongside her family at Penn Manor Farms while simultaneously raising five beautiful children. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, instilling in them the importance of togetherness, generosity, and commitment.

Eileen's passions extended beyond her professional responsibilities; she was an avid crafter, skilled in sewing and cross-stitching, crafting heartfelt treasures that adorned her home. Her love for horseback riding added another layer to her rich life, providing joy and freedom that she cherished deeply. However, her greatest joy was always found in the company of her family and pets, creating countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Eileen leaves behind an enduring legacy through her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Daniel) Schulman; her sons, James, Jr. (Christine) Gancarz, John (Raina) Gancarz, Jeffrey (Barbara) Gancarz, and her daughter, Kimberly (Howard) Kritzberger. Her heart swelled with pride as she doted on her 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who will carry on her spirit and values for generations to come. Eileen also took great joy in her in-laws and the numerous nieces, nephews, and her precious baby Zoe, all of whom were blessed to share in her life.

Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband James S. Gancarz, Sr., her parents, Frank Maxwell and Edith (Wood) Maxwell, as well as her sister, Mildred Bice. Although their physical presence is no longer with us, their memories will forever be woven into the fabric of the lives Eileen touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Eileen's remarkable life and legacy. Visitation will be held on December 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 8:00 PM, both at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services at 41 W. Trenton Ave. in Morrisville, PA, 19067,. Eileen will be interred at Newtown Cemetery in Newtown, PA, at the convenience of the family, where she will rest in peace.

Eileen Gancarz leaves behind not just memories, but a profound impact on all who knew her. Her kindness, strength, and love will remain a guiding light in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us to cherish every moment and uphold the values she so passionately exemplified.

The family requests that you consider making a memorial contribution, in lieu of flowers and in Eileen’s name, to an animal rescue of your choice, or to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
