Elizabeth Yerkes Wisnosky (yerkes)

Elizabeth (Yerkes) Wisnosky, 87, of Morrisville, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Born and raised in Pemberton, NJ, she attended Kutztown State Teacher's College and, with her husband, Peter, Lived in Ocean City, NJ bevore moving to Morrisville in 1959.Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a librarian at the Bucks County Technical School, and also worked for the Pennsbury School District. Betty was an active member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the United Methodist Women, was a Sunday school teacher, the church librarian, and a youth worker.She enjoyed sewing, needlework, cooking and baking, and gardening, especially enjoying her roses.Daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Reed) Yerkes, and mother of the late Richard Wisnosky, she is survived by her husband 0f 65 years, Peter Wisnosky, a son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Ellen Wisnosky of Morrisville, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Janice and John Timlin, Jr. of Abington Twp., and three grandchildren, Sarah and John Timlin and Michael Wisnosky.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 10 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor, will officiate. A luncheon will follow in fellowship hall.Betty will be inurned at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mrs. Wisnosky's name, be sent to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, https://www.lls.org/ or to the Morrisville United Methodist Church, at the above address. Additionally, it is requested that you please donate blood in her honor to the American Red Cross.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
