Elsie Marie Lukaszow

Elsie Marie (Chapman) Lukaszow, 92, of Hamilton Twp., NJ, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld, Trenton, NJ.Elsie was born March 13, 1923 to the late Joseph and Bertha (Leedom) Chapman of Morrisville, PA. She was employed as a secretary at Remington Typrewriter in Trenton, NJ, before leaving to start her family. She resided in Morrisville until the death of her husband of 63 years in 2006, at which time she moved to the home of her daughter in Hamilton, NJ.Elsie enjoyed flowers both by gardening and also with frequent trips to Longwood Gardens. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed any opportunity to attend live theater performances. In recent years, she has enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Hawaii.She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Peter Lukaszow, as well as her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Marie Chapman, and her three sisters and brothers-in-law, Hadge and Marian (Chapman) Van Horn, James and Nellie (Chapman) Mayer, and Robert and Edna (Chapman) Antrobus. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Lukaszow, three nephews Paul Chapman of Morrisville, PA, Joseph Antrobus of Valrico, FL, and Barry Van Horn of Milton DE, five nieces Roberta (Antrobus) DiPrato, and Florence (Antrobus) Lear of Valrico, FL, Bonnie (Antrobus) Foster of Glendale, AZ, Marsha (Van Horn) Gochnour of New Zebulon, NC and Linda (Lukaszow) Richardson of Abington, PA.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Joe Martin, Pastor of the Fallsington United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
