Eugene J. Ledger, Sr.

Eugene J. Ledger, Sr., age 92 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation Center, Buckingham Township, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Ledger lived in Morrisville for over 55 years.  Prior to his retirement, Eugene was employed as a Lead Operator with A.E. Staley in Morrisville for 15 years.

Mr. Ledger was an active member of the Morrisville Senior Servicenter as well as a volunteer with the Morrisville High School Sports program.  A proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was an avid collector of both baseball cards and stamps, and enjoyed bowling

Son of the late Sydney Ledger, brother of the late Howard, Jack, and Dave Ledger and lee Smith, and grandfather of the late Christina Ledger, he is survived by his wife Christina Mary (Sadorf) Ledger, 3 sons Michael R. Ledger (Brenda Bektas) of Morrisville, Mark Ledger (Sandy Wiltz-Ledger) of Hulmeville and Eugene Ledger, Jr. (Ann Garrett) of Johnstown, PA, a sister Annie Spargo, 5 grandchildren Mark, Michael, Gene, Patricia and John Ledger, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his German Shepherd Tasha Ann.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 12:15 PM on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  His interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Friends may gather at the funeral chapel from 11 AM until 12:15.
