Eva Catherine Matteson

Eva Catherine Matteson, age 76, of Levittown, Bristol Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Penn Medicine Hospice, Philadelphia. Born in Chattanooga, TN, Eva had been a lifelong area resident, living in Trenton, Browns Mills, and Morrisville before moving to Levittown.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Matteson was a banker with Wells Fargo in Bristol for 26 years. She was an avid reader.
Daughter of the late Frank and Genevie (Beatty) Matteson, and sister of the late Ronald Matteson, she is survived by her husband Robert Girton, a son Kenneth Matteson of Morrisville, a sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Stanley C. Getz of Bensalem, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10 AM on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Her interment will be 11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the funeral chapel.
