Faustino Ortiz

Faustino Ortiz, age 97 of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA.  Born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, Mr. Ortiz lived in Trinity, Florida for 10 years before moving to Yardley 8 years ago.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a laborer at Kramer’s Factory in Trenton for over 20 years.  Faustino was a huge baseball fan, often rooting for the Phillies.  An animal lover, his favorite companion was his dog Palomo.  Faustino loved to relax sitting on his front porch.  He was also an avid gardener, and was fond of going on long walks.

Son of the late Jesus and Tomasa (Saez) Ortiz, husband of the late Carmen Ortiz, father of the late Lydia Suarez and twin brother of the late Justino Ortiz, brother of the late Marcelino Ortiz, Edemencia Cosmez and Antonia Ortiz, he is survived by three daughters, Carmen (Angelo) Suarez, Maria Luisa Vasquez of Yardley and Blanca (Juan) Valentin of Lansdale, PA, a sister-in-law Luz Enilda Vasquez of Burlington, NJ, four sisters Emerita Coriano of Hamilton NJ, Encarnacion Carmela (Francisco) Reyes of Ewing Twp., Paula Ortiz of Puerto Rico, Celsa (Domingo) Sanchez of Puerto Rico, as well as many grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  His interment in Florida will be held privately.

Friends may call Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
