Florence A. Shelmet (nowosadko)

Florence A. (Nowosadko) Shelmet, age 88, formerly of Fairless Hills, PA, Stockton, CA and Henderson, NV, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31 at Oakwood Residence in Philadelphia. She was born in 1927 in Trenton, NJ.Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was employed as the Supervisor of Accounts with the Department of Human Services of the State of New Jersey for 25 years. Florence was a member of Saint Francis Cabrini Church.Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Budzinski) Nowosadko, wife of the late Frank Shelmet, mother of the late Frank, Mary and Walter Shelmet, and sister of the late Mary Denito and Charles Shelmet, she is survived by 6 children, Deborah Stout, Joseph and Diane Shelmet , Cecelia and Carl Blasina, Charles M. and Rose Shelmet , Kathleen and James Wurst and Alexander and Janet Shelmet, a daughter-in-law Dorothy Shelmet, a sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Michael Bejger, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and her aunt and best friend Anelia Miller.Friends may call Friday morning from 9 - 10:30 AM at the J.
