Florence Rose (Szarniec) Michaels

Florence Rose Michaels, age 91 of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Oxford Nursing and Rehab Center, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Shenandoah, PA, Florence was a lifelong Philadelphia resident.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller with PNB, now Wells Fargo, for over 30 years.  Mrs. Michaels was an accomplished seamstress, who loved trips to the shore and going to the casinos.

Daughter of the late Frank and Anna Szarniec, and wife of the late Adam C. Michaels, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Amy Michaels of Yardley, a sister Barbara Saunders of League City, TX, and a grandson Andrew Michaels.

Joint committal services for Florence and Adam will be held privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
