Florence R Peters, age 84 of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne, PA.
Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Florence lived in Fairless Hills for the past 64 years. She had been an active member of the Morrisville and Fairless Hills Senior Centers, and very much enjoyed going to the casinos, especially Parx and Sands. Florence loved gardening and working in her yard, mowing the lawn and trimming the hedges. She enjoyed traveling, particularly loving her trips to Aruba and Palm Beach. She took pleasure in cruising the World, but was equally as happy spending time in the pool. By far, the most favorite thing in Florence's world was her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Troster) Bynon, she was the last of eleven children. She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard B. Peters, who died in 2007. Florence is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Laura J. and Joseph Garry of Hamilton, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law Gregory S. and Rosemary E. Peters of Morrisville, PA, five grandchildren, Elizabeth (& George) Hartley, Kara C. Peters (Andrew Patterson), Sean R. Peters, Sarah J. Garry ( & fiance' Tyler Dalton), and Emma J. Garry, two great grandsons, Tristan C. and Gavin C. Hartley, as well as her Godson Timothy R.Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.
Her services and interment in Morrisville Cemetery will be held privately, by invitation only, on Monday, January 11, 2021, with the Rev. Wendy Bellis, officiating.
