Francis O. Perry Jr.

Francis O. Perry, Jr., age 77, of Warminster, PA, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Keyport, NJ, Mr. Perry lived in Plymouth Meeting, PA and also lived Lower Makefield Township, PA for over 35 years before moving to Warminster one year ago. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Perry was a mechanical and electrical engineer, and was the President of Logical Technical Services (L.T.S.) for 30 years. He currently worked as a consultant for Peripheral Dynamics, Inc. (PDI) in Plymouth Meeting. He graduated from Hamilton West High School in 1955 and earned his Master's Degree from Drexel University in Engineering in 1968. Mr. Perry was a member of the Drexel Alumni Association. He loved to restore cars, and was an avid car enthusiast, being especially fond of MG's. He was a member of the Philadelphia MG Club. Mr. Perry was also a master woodworker. He enjoyed old and historic buildings, and was currently restoring the 19th century home in which he lived.Son of the late Francis O. and Teresa (Reed) Perry, he was also pre-deceased by his first wife, Margaret (Horner) Perry. He is survived by his wife Perla Reyes, five children Marla Perry of Seattle, WA, Patrick Perry of Hanover, PA, Megan (and Tim) Lake of Clifton, NJ, Steven (and Elizabeth Torres) Perry of Yardley, PA, and Natalie Becerra of Warminster, PA, his sisters Dolores Perry of Mercerville, NJ and Frona Larson of W. Trenton, NJ, a brother Robert Perry (and wife Lois) of Hamilton, NJ, seven grandchildren Steven Perry, Frances Graiff, Elizabeth, Eryn, Ariel, Pierce, and Lucas Perry, and a great grandson Chase Briggs.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. John C. Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, will officiate, followed by interment in Newtown Cemetery.Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral chapel.
