Frederick Gigliotti Jr.

Frederick Gigliotti, Jr., 74, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Silver Lake Nursing Center in Bristol, PA. Born in New Britain, CT, in 1939, Fred was a longtime resident of Yardley, PA where he raised his family and ran his business, Towne House Hair Fashions, for over 25 years. Fred was a beloved and devoted father and grandfather, never missing a baseball game or an opera performance. Son of the late Frederick and Luigina Notoriani Gigliotti and brother of the late Dr. Ralph P. Gigliotti, DDS., he is survived by his former wife, Elaine C. Sodano, and their three children and spouses: Frederick and Kelly Gigliotti of Philadelphia, PA; Eve Frances Gigliotti and Joshua Himwich of Brooklyn, NY; and Samuel and Stephanie Gigliotti of Yardley, PA; and his five grandchildren; Sam, Abby, Maya, Ella, and Sasha. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 14, 2014 at St. Mary Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton Twp., NJ. Guests are asked to meet at the Main Office and will be escorted to the graveside. The service will be followed by a reception at the home of his son, 200 Valley Dr., Morrisville, PA 19067. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org). Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com).
