George A. Cutchineal, age 98 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne, PA. Born in Bristol, PA, Mr. Cutchineal lived in Tullytown before moving to Morrisville 70 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, George was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with Warner Sand and Gravel in Falls Township for 40 years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army/Airforce, flying many missions throughout the South Pacific in a B24. George was a member of VFW Post #05542 in Bristol and American Legion Post #0834 in Fallsington. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3673. A robust fan of both the Eagles and Phillies, he enjoyed visits to the casinos, horseracing, making birdhouses and solving puzzles.
Son of the late John and Angeline (Terez) Cutchineal and husband of the late Fannie (Argenti) Cutchineal, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jo Ann and Paul Polizzi of Levittown, a special cousin Lorraine “Rainey” Titus, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in George’s name, be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, (www.chop.edu/giving).
